
Tammy Gillian is an experienced soft tissue, spinal and orthopaedic surgeon, whose special interests also include oncology, reconstructive surgery, and chemotherapy. Tammy also offers acupunctureas a primary or adjunctive treatment option, for pain relief in osteoarthritis, other orthopaedic and spinal conditions, and for both pain relief and to assist healing for soft tissue injuries and neurological cases. In addition Tammy provides a radiograph interpretation service.
Tammy graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia in November 1997, and has been working in the UK since April 1998. Initially Tammy worked in first opinion small animal practice. She joined the Animal Medical Centre in December 2001 as a surgery resident. Tammy became a member of the Surgery Chapter of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in July 2004. Since then she has continued to develop her surgical skills. In 2005 she undertook a 5 month locum position as referral surgeon at the Veterinary Referral, Cancer & Critical Care centre (VRCC) in Essex.
